Carolina Hurricanes Military Appreciation Day

As a Raleigh-born company, you are probably aware of how seriously celito has taken its commitment to the local community. In keeping with tradition, celito will host Military Appreciation Night with the Carolina Hurricanes on April 15. Our Canes will be playing the Nashville Predators.

Let’s Get Another Win This Year!

We’ll join the Hurricanes organization to honor servicemen and servicewomen from the military and their families, including representatives from Fort Bragg—the largest military base in the United States—and several other NC bases.

An interesting fact about April 15, other than being the date taxes are due in a normal year, is that it marked the return of the Carolina Hurricanes to playoff hockey after a 10-year drought, in 2019. That was an incredible night that night, with a victory over the Washington Capitals.

As with the flyover event at the 2019 Wolfpack/Syracuse game, and at last year’s shootout win with the Canes over the Islanders, we have enjoyed meeting you at these events. While it won’t be quite the same this year, we look forward to doing it again in person really soon!

To North Carolina service members and their families who are based out of Pope and Seymour Johnson Air Force Bases, Camp Lejeune Marine Corps Base, MCAS bases in Jacksonville and Havelock, Camp Mackall Army Base, Military Ocean Terminal, and Air Station Elizabeth City Coast Guard Base, I would like to extend a thank you to you and your families (and let’s not forgot our friends from Norfolk Naval Station as well).

Military and Families, We Appreciate You

To the service member and their families: We appreciate you for the value of the services you provide to our nation, and we appreciate your contributions to the community. We value the positive energy you radiate—thank you!

A History of Trust in Raleigh

As our company has grown in recent years, adding team members and clients, celito is thankful for our shared history in the local community. North Carolina’s military history predates its statehood and continues to the present day, with participation in such recent (post-Vietnam) campaigns as Panama, Operation Golden Pheasant, Operation Restore Hope, and Operation Enduring Freedom. Military personnel from North Carolina have been a part of every major naval offensive in the Pacific!

At celito, we strive to meet or exceed our customers’ expectations and needs. This is how the military command structure frames their vision of service, and it is how we express it, as well. We hope that you will continue to consider partnering with us as your local option for all of your IT infrastructure, VoIP, and Internet needs.

Did You Know?

Did you know that approximately 14,000 civilian employees work at Fort Bragg, in addition to active members of the military? North Carolina is home to eight bases, from all branches of the military except the Navy.

Defense and the military are behind the state government as the second-largest employers in North Carolina. The economic impact of the military and its members is huge, with tens of billions of dollars generated every year.

Since 1999, celito has been a leader in providing Internet, voice solutions, and data services. We’re proud to offer the local Raleigh and Durham communities high-quality fiber Internet, along with a hosted voice system!
