Why is celito involved with business startup incubators?
We began as a one-person business in Raleigh over 16 years ago. As a Raleigh born, Raleigh grown business ourselves, we appreciate the hard work that it takes to get a business up and running. celito supports Triangle startup incubators like our clients HQ Raleigh, the Nest, and the Technology Incubator at NC State’s Centennial Campus.
This blog series features these three business startup incubators/entrepreneurial communities. There are many other startup incubators in the Triangle. The Greater Raleigh Chamber of Commerce shares a list of incubators and co-working communities.
Are you part of a startup incubator? We’d love to hear from you!
We are proud to be a Sponsor for HQ Raleigh, one of our awesome celito clients.
HQ Raleigh was founded in 2012 by Christopher Gergen, Jason Widen, Jesse Lipson, and Brooks Bell. In addition to providing office space, HQ Raleigh says, “What makes HQ Raleigh unique is our focus on building community through our six core values.”
- Be Authentic
- Empower Others
- Drive Forward With Purpose
- Think Big!
- Leave the World Better Than You Found It
- Embrace Diversity
What sets HQ Raleigh apart?
“We strive to go beyond just being a workspace by supporting all the needs of our member companies, whether that’s through discounts at gyms or restaurants, free mentorship hours, healthcare and employment benefits, or through tech offerings like gig internet.”
HQ Raleigh says, “We also truly believe that a “rising tide lifts all ships,” so we’re really intentional about partnering with local groups and growing a network that will support entrepreneurial growth. Some great examples are our work with the NCSU E-Clinic, the City of Raleigh, our accelerator with Red Hat and Citrix, and even little things like a bike share with Oak City Cycling.”
