celito sponsors Raleigh Oktoberfest 8Kcelito was proud to be a sponsor of the nOg Run Club’s third annual Oktoberfest Run Green 8K, which was held on Saturday, October 18 in Downtown Raleigh. Runners flocked to Moore Square to embark upon a run around the city streets of Raleigh, many donning their best lederhosen and creative Oktoberfest-inspired costumes. In addition to a great workout, all runners received a tech shirt, custom koozie, and the opportunity to enter a drawing for a $3,000 travel voucher. After the race, finishers were invited to enjoy free beer and a lively after party in Moore Square featuring live music, food, games and more.

Gift certificates were given to the top three male and female overall runners, master runners, and competitors in each age group. Glass boot steins were presented to winners in the categories of Fastest Lederhosen and Dirndl, Best German Costume, and Best Team Costume.

Supporting the nOg Run Club, Wake Enterprises & Other Community Philanthropic Organizations

The nOg Run Club meets weekly, accepting donations for Raleigh-area philanthropic organizations. During specified monthly charity nights, the running club donates to the month’s selected charity, and runners also bring in a requested donation, such as food, supplies, clothing, etc. This year’s Oktoberfest Run Green 8K raised funds to benefit Wake Enterprises. Wake Enterprises is a local nonprofit with a mission to assist individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in order to help them achieve their maximum level of independence.

Supporting Wake Enterprises by sponsoring the Oktoberfest Run is just one of the many ways celito strives to give back to the Raleigh community. Since our founding in 1999, we’ve made it a priority to support local philanthropic organizations with our finances, time and talents, in addition to providing them with turnkey Internet solutions.
